The StrucTiers system may be used for different combinations of rescue and sheltering tasks -

• Sheltering people, including - rescue teams, survivors, new residents at post disaster zones
• Sheltering the rescue operations, including the provision of field hospitals and clinics, and command and control posts
• Public buildings (e.g. temporary schools, municipal offices etc.)
• Protected storage (e.g. rescue/housing equipment, food, medical supply, clothing)
• Combination of the above - by allocating specific tasks to each of the StrucTiers series elements
