Full-scale prototypes of Tube-Be have been fabricated and equipped, at ShellTiers facilities in Beer-Sheba, Israel.

The prototypes are intentionally placed above the ground (and not according to their original predesigned underground deployment) for enabling visitors to examine the entire composite material system uncovered.

A visit inside the system requires climbing (by stairs) to a "virtual ground level platform" lifted 4 meters above real ground level, followed by descending into the Tube-Be floor level through either one of – a lift, a spiral staircase or a diagonal ladder.

The prototypes demonstrate Tube-Be design alternatives and field deployment methodologies.
